MINOT, ND – The Minot State men’s club soccer team finished their inaugaral season on Sunday playing in the Region V Tournament Championship match in Greeley, Colorado. After a 9-0-1 regular season, the Beavers defeated Creighton 2-1 and Denver 2-1 this weekend in the tournament and advance to the championship againt Minnesota. The Golden Gophers won the title match 4-1.

MSU WOMENS SOCCER
 
MINOT, ND (MSU) – Minot State. fell 1-0 at home to Concordia-St. Paul Sunday at Herb Parker Stadium. Siriana Gudino led Minot State with seven saves. The Beavers recorded eight shots in the loss, five of them on goal. Minot State faced 12 Concordia-St. Paul shots, nine of them on goal. The Beavers received five yellow cards and Concordia two. Minot State fell to 5-8-2 overall and 2-7-2 in NSIC action following the defeat. The Beavers return to the field on Saturday at Wayne State College.

MSU CROSS COUNTRY
 
MINOT, ND (MSU) – Saturday afternoon in Bismarck, the Minot State XC teams competed in the NSIC Championship meet. Led by Sidra Sadowsky with twenty-two minutes and 27.2 seconds, the Women finished 7th overall in their race. Jessica Martinez also finished in the top 50 with 22:46.8 at 47th place. Paulette Dominguez finished 59th with 23:02.8, Emery Smith and Nicole Reeves also placed 68th and 69th respectively with times of 23:20.8 and 23:21.1. The Men placed 9th with three runners in the top 50. Jacob Jensen led the Men finishing 21st with a time of 25:13.5. The other top 50 runners were Charles Hardcastle who finished 28th with 25:33.2, and Grayson Bonilla finishing 44th with 25:57.6. The next time both teams will compete is on November 4th in Joplin, MO for the NCAA Central Region Meet.
