- Due to the heavy snow fall the Minot Police Department is advising caution and recommending no travel for the City of Minot. City Crews are busy sanding and clearing trouble areas.
- UPDATE: NDDOT & NDHP have issued a TRAVEL ALERT for central North Dakota due to refreezing roads & snowfall causing icy conditions & reduced visibility especially when meeting and passing vehicles. Areas include: Glen Ullin, Bismarck, Center, Underwood, McClusky, Steele, Linton, Napoleon, Kenmare, Minot, Garrison, Bottineau, Velva, Harvey, Jamestown, Valley City, & surrounding areas.

| Adaptive Water Recreation Event|
Participants from around North Dakota and their families and friends come for this opportunity to discover the thrill and excitement of water skiing, enjoy leisurely pontoon rides on Nelson Lake and socialize with friends old and new.
This 20th Escape to the Lake will include lunch for registered participants and their families in Sporting Chance‚??s new Nelson Lake shelter, plus an acrobatic performance ski show starting around 1 p.m. featuring the Aqua Addicts, who provide the skiing boats and side-skiing safety support for all Escape participants.
Nelson Lake is northwest of Bismarck and Mandan, in Oliver County. The lake is about five miles east and three miles south of the town of Center. Registration for participants begins at 10 am June 21. The event is free. For more information, call (800) 532-NDAD.
