Lack of effort isn't the sworn enemy of fruit bearing. Self-sufficiency is. Abiding in Christ is the only way fruit grows.
- Daniel Emery Price
Vince was born and raised in Cuyahoga Falls, a town famous for televangelist Rex Humbard, a horrific Doodlebug train crash, and the mighty Cuyahoga River. Growing up the youngest in the family with two sisters wasn't easy, but with strict yet fair parents who raised him in the church and emphasized a relationship with Christ, he soon began to dream about a career in the ministry field.
His chance came in 2004, when Vince enrolled at Anderson University, a school of higher learning with strong ties to the Church of God. For four years, Vince worked at the school's Christian radio station, WQME, learning much about the radio industry and about living like Christ. His musical interests began evolving when he became a part of After Midnight, a program dedicated to Christian rock, hip-hop, pop, and metal. It was during that time that he knew God was calling him to minister to the younger generation through positive music that appealed directly to them. God can be glorified through all genres of music, and Vince knew he had to educate the masses on alternative Christian music!
Vince arrived at Kheart in October of 2010, after holding various positions at several talk radio stations and networks from Indiana all the way to Oregon. It's not easy to pick up everything you have, load it in your station wagon, and move to a new state, but with the ease of the move and the feeling he had in his heart, he knew God was calling him to Minot. What he didn't know was how much he would come to love this area and this great state.
