- Due to the heavy snow fall the Minot Police Department is advising caution and recommending no travel for the City of Minot. City Crews are busy sanding and clearing trouble areas.
- UPDATE: NDDOT & NDHP have issued a TRAVEL ALERT for central North Dakota due to refreezing roads & snowfall causing icy conditions & reduced visibility especially when meeting and passing vehicles. Areas include: Glen Ullin, Bismarck, Center, Underwood, McClusky, Steele, Linton, Napoleon, Kenmare, Minot, Garrison, Bottineau, Velva, Harvey, Jamestown, Valley City, & surrounding areas.

| Tech Tutors : One-on-One Computer Help for Adults|
The Minot Public Library will be offering one-on-one computer help for adults at no cost this summer. This will be by appointment only, and the tutor availability will depend on the type of computer help needed.
A Minot Public Library card is required to sign up for help. You may bring your own laptop or portable device if you wish to do so.
Topic areas that can be covered are Microsoft Word basics, Microsoft Excel basics, Microsoft PowerPoint basics, Microsoft Publisher basics, Computer basics, Internet Tips & Searching, Email basics, OverDrive or OneClick Digital electronic format materials, Genealogy resource links, and the library's electronic resources.
