 Household Hazardous Waste Collection

Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM
The City of Minot will hold their annual Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection and E-Recycling program at the northwest lot of the Public Works Building (1025 31st St. SE), Friday and Saturday, May 16th and 17th from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day. Motorists should follow the directional signs on Burdick Expressway at 31st Street to the collection area where Public Works and Sanitation employees will unload the material from vehicles.

This service is available for household quantities of HHW to City of Minot garbage patrons at no charge. City of Minot garbage patrons please bring proof of residency (example water bill or ID). Household hazardous waste includes paint, items labeled danger, flammable�, corrosive�, toxic� or poisonous. The HHW collection is not available to residents outside of the City of Minot.

E-recycling includes computers, printers, fax machines, TVs etc. A 35-cents/pound fee will apply to businesses, schools or non-residents that choose to use the E-recycling program.
