I am the thorn in His crown.
But Jesus loves me anyway.

I am the sweat from His brow.
But Jesus loves me anyway.

I am the nail in His wrist.
But Jesus loves me anyway.

I am Judas' kiss.
But Jesus loves me anyway.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The Los Angeles Sparks and Minnesota Lynx are set for another Game 5 in a remarkably tight rivalry. The two teams have faced each other in the WNBA Finals each of the last two years and both series have gone five games. Last year's game 5 saw L.A. win 77-76 on an offensive rebound and shot with 3 second to go.  The Lynx are hoping to complete their fourth championship since 2011. Game 5 is tonight at William Arena on the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis.

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - The Minnesota Wild have signed left wing Daniel Winnik to a one-year, $660,000 contract. Winnik was in training camp on a tryout basis. He was a free agent after a career-high 12 goals in 72 games last season for Washington.
The 32-year-old Winnik became more valuable to the Wild with a back injury limiting left wing Zach Parise, and Winnik was rewarded Wednesday with a contract. He's been on the fourth line with center Matt Cullen and right wing Tyler Ennis.
The Wild will be his eighth NHL team. He played two seasons for Wild coach Bruce Boudreau when they were both with Anaheim. Winnik has 76 goals and 152 assists in 717 games, plus 58 games in the playoffs.
The Wild open the season Thursday at Detroit.

PHOENIX (AP) - The Arizona Diamondbacks have put four of their five starting pitchers on the roster for tonight's National League wild-card game against the Colorado Rockies. In addition to the game's starter Zack Greinke, left-hander Robbie Ray will be in the Arizona bullpen along with fellow starters lefty Patrick Corbin and right-hander Zack Godley. The Rockies will have two starters in their bullpen - left-hander Tyler Anderson and right-hander Antonio Senzatela.

CHICAGO (AP) - Kyle Hendricks will start the playoff opener for the defending World Series champion Chicago Cubs. Manager Joe Maddon says the 27-year-old right-hander will start Game 1 of the NL Division Series against Washington on Friday. Hendricks was 7-5 with a 3.03 ERA. He missed time in June and July with a finger injury but had a 2.19 ERA in 13 starts after the All-Star break.
Maddon also announced today that Jon Lester will pitch Game 2, with Jose Quintana and Jake Arrieta starting Games 3 and 4 at Wrigley Field.
