    Both tournament run through Saturday when 5th Place, 3rd Place and Championship games will be held.  Grand Forks Red River is the defending Boys Champion.  Bismarck is the defending Girls Champion.

    DICKINSON, ND - Dickinson Trinity boys basketball coach Gregg Grinsteinner has reached another milestone.  The Titan head coach tallied his 400th win last night in a 64-52 win over Killdeer.  Grinsteinner has a 400-101 record as the head coach of Trinity.

     TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Derek Jeter says he decided to retire after the upcoming season explaining, "this is the right time."  The New York Yankees captain held a news conference today, a week after making an announcement many of his teammates said shocked and saddened them.
 
     Jeter, who turns 40 in June, was limited to 17 games last season, hitting 190 with one homer and seven RBIs after breaking an ankle in the 2012 AL championship series opener.

     UNDATED (AP) - David Ortiz wants a one-year contract extension with the Red Sox through 2015 and would like to have that situation resolved pretty soon so it doesn't become a distraction.  Boston's designated hitter is in the final season of a $26 million, two-year contract.
