A HIGH WIND WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR WESTERN AND MOST OF CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA THROUGH THIS EVENING.

VERY STRONG WINDS SUSTAINED AT 40 MPH WITH GUSTS TO AROUND 60 MPH WILL BEGIN IN WESTERN NORTH DAKOTA MID MORNING TODAY AND EXPAND INTO MOST OF CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA BY EARLY AFTERNOON.  LOCATIONS WITHIN THE HIGH WIND WARNING INCLUDE CROSBY, WILLISTON, WATFORD CITY, DICKINSON, BOWMAN, HETTINGER, MINOT, BOTTINEAU, HARVEY, CARRINGTON, BISMARCK AND ELGIN.

TRAVEL MAY BECOME HAZARDOUS, ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES.  THOSE WORKING IN ELEVATED SITUATIONS SHOULD USE EXTREME CAUTION.
