    Renville County will play the loser of Thompson/Nelson County at 10 am tomorrow in a Loser Out game.  Burlington will follow at 1 pm taking on the Carrington/Langdon loser in another Loser Out contest.

    BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A 100-mile bicycle race is being held in western North Dakota's Badlands along the Maah Daah Hey Trail.  The Maah Daah Hey 100 is being held on Saturday. It's the third year for the event.  This year, the race will include options for teams and shorter distances of 25, 50 and 75 miles.  The trail is open to other users during the race.

     CLEVELAND (AP) - A person familiar with the deal says the Cleveland Indians have traded starter Justin Masterson to the St. Louis Cardinals for minor league outfielder James Ramsey.  The person spoke to the Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the teams have not commented.
 
     Masterson has been a disappointment for the Indians this season. He began the year as Cleveland's No. 1 starter but has underperformed after turning down a contract extension from the club in spring training.  He is on currently on the disabled list.

     CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Hendrick Motorsports has picked Greg Ives to be Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s next crew chief.  Ives was the race engineer for Jimmie Johnson's record run of five consecutive championships and will return to Hendrick Motorsports next season as crew chief for NASCAR's most popular driver. He will replace Steve Letarte, who is stepping down at the end of the year for an analyst job with NBC Sports.

     LATROBE, Pa. (AP) - The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced they will retire Joe Greene's No. 75 during a game against the Baltimore Ravens on Nov. 2.  The Hall of Fame defensive end was the No. 1 overall pick in the 1969 NFL draft. He helped Pittsburgh win four Super Bowls during his 13-year career as the heart of what became the "Steel Curtain" defense. The 10-time Pro Bowler was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1987.
