October 27th - Bowman County 26, Velva 16

Gage Florence - Velva     Hayden Lee - Velva

Even though the Aggies saw their season come to an end in the quarterfinal of the State Class A playoffs, Florence had a great effort. He carried the ball 27 times for 88 yards. The rest of the team tallied 8 yards rushing.

Lee also gave a great effort catching four passes for 85 yards and two touchdowns, one for 64 yards on the first play of the game. Lee also came up big on the defensive side of the ball with several key tackles.


October 20th - Dickinson Trinity 57, Des Lacs-Burlington 13

Dante Gunville - DLB

Gunville was under heavy pressure all night from the Titan defense but made some nice throws on the run. He completed 14 of 28 passes for 150 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.


October 20th - Beulah 33, Bishop Ryan 14

Kaleb McGraw - Beulah

McGraw led the Miners to an upset win in the first round of the Class A playoffs over #3-ranked Bishop Ryan. McGraw ran for 197 yards on 32 carries and 3 touchdowns.


October 20th - Shiloh Christian 44 - Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood 14

Nate Beha - MLS

Without his prime target Isaac Undlin, who was out with an ankle injury, Beha completed 8 of 20 passes for 109 yards and two touchdowns. He was also the Mvericks leading rusher tallying 69 yards on 13 carries.


October 20th - Velva 24, Hazen 8

Gage Florence - Velva

Florence rushed 26 times for 181 yards and two touchdowns, including a 55 yarder as the Aggies won their first round playoff game. Florence was also a force on defense in on many tackles.


October 13th - Surrey 32, North Prairie 28

Cody Fuchs - Surrey

Fuchs helped power the Mustangs to their first home playoff win. The wide reciever rushed for 161 yards on six carries and two touchdowns in the third quarter that gave Surrey the lead for good. One was a jet-sweep for 54 yards and the second a jet-sweep for 65 yards on the next possesion. Fuchs also made many defensive plays using his speed to jump in the passing lane and knock down the ball.


October 12th - Bishop Ryan 35, Velva 34 OT

Keegan Henjum - Bishop Ryan

Henjum led the Lions defense to victory over the previously undefeated Aggies. The noseguard led the Ryan push breaking into the backfield numerous times to sack, or hurry, the throws of Jersey Sezler, who only completed two of thirteen attempts.


October 12th - Des Lacs-Burlington 37, Kenmare-Bowbells-Burke Central 12

Weston Wahus - Des Lacs-Burlington

Wahus didn't get a chance to carry the ball until the second half, but made the most of his time once he did. The runningback made six strong runs, breaking tackles for extra yardage and tallying 27 yards and a touchdown.


October 5th - Velva 48, Stanley 0

Gage Florence - Velva

Florence led the ground attack as the #3 Aggies remain undefeated at 7-0. Florence tallied 117 yards on 9 carries and two touchdowns, including a 75 yard scamper in the third quarter.


October 5th - Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood 50, Divide County 0

Zane Wenstad - Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood

In a game where the Mavericks scored seven times Wenstad didn't find the endzone, but did tally some big runs to set up those scores. He only carried the ball four times, but amassed 110 yards, including a 43 and 46 yard run.


September 28th - Kenmare-Bowbells-Burke Central 38, Lewis & Clark-Our Redeemer's 6

Tevin Dix - Kenmare-B-BC

Dix threw five touchdowns and finished 16 of 25 for 231 yards despite clearly limping through the second half. Dix lead the Honkers to their second consecutive win after four losses to begin the season.


September 27th - Des Lacs-Burlington 18, Stanley 14

Scott Drovdal - DLB

Drovdal tallied five receptions on the night for 136 yards and three touchdowns, including the game winner with 15 seconds to go. He caught touchdown passes on 40, 47 and 24 yards.


September 21st - Bishop Ryan 41, Stanley 0

Ben Bohl - Bishop Ryan

Ben Bohl accounted for 296 yards of offense and five touchdowns in the Lions win. Bohl was 13 of 19 for 226 yards and four scores through the air. He also caught a pass for a 70 yards touchdown.


September 21st - Kenmare-Bowbells-Burke Central 20, Nedrose 12


Bo Thingvold - Kenmare-B-BC

Thingvold rushed for 125 yards on 18 carries and a touchdown. He also had 55 yards on two receptions helping the Honkers to their first win of the season.


September 14th - Bishop Ryan 33, Des Lacs-Burlington 0

Ben Bohl - Bishop Ryan

Bohl completed 16 of 28 passes for 302 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in leading the Lions to victory.


September 14th - Nedrose 46, Lewis & Clark-Our Redeemer's 22

Duncan Pryor - Nedrose

Pryor rushed for 34 yards and three TD's. He caught a pass for 31 yards and also did a great job as punter. On defense, Pryor made some big tackles as linebacker.


September 7th - Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood 50, Surrey 6

Nate Beha - M-L-S

The Maverick quarterback did a great job managing the game for the offense. Beha was 5 of 8 passing for 85 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 38 yards, including some key first downs.


September 7th - Stanley 26, Kenmare-Bowbells-Burke Central 14

Cody Rudolph - Stanley

Rudolph was a workhorse for the Blue Jays carrying the ball 36 times for 144 yards and one touchdown. He also recovered a fumble in the endzone for a score and caught two passes for 29 yards.


August 31st - #3 Velva 44, Des Lacs-Burlington 14

Hayden Lee - Velva

Hayden made many key plays for the Aggies defense which dominated DLB, holding them to less than 20 yards rushing. He also caught a couple 2-point conversions.


August 24th - Des Lacs-Burlington 16, Rugby 14 OT

Brayden Bonn - DLB

As holder for the game winning extra point attempt, Brayden had to scramble and threw a game winning 2-point conversion to Garrett Snyder.


August 21st - Shiloh Christian 36, Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood 34

Jaden Mitzell - Shiloh Christian

Jaden accounted for 232 yards of offense and four touchdowns in leading Shiloh to the win.
